TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS

The 51st Annual Championship of the SC Senior Women's Golf Association is open to any member holding a current USGA handicap and a full time South Carolina resident.  The field is limited to 100 players determined by postmark.  Automatic entrants include: 1) Low index entries and ties (up to 10% of total entries); and 2) previous year's champion, current board members, past presidents and honorary members, if they apply by the closing date on the application.

The tournament is 36 holes of stroke play.  Flights will be determined by handicap index.  Players falling into the first two flights by index will be broken out into the Championship and First Flights by score after the first day of play.  All other flights will remain as flighted by handicap index prior to the start of the Tournament.  The contestant with low gross 36 hole score, regardless of flight, will be the Champion.

There will be a Super Senior prize for members age 70 and above including those turning 70 anytime during 2020 and there will be a Legends prize for members age 80 and above including those turning 80 anytime during 2020. 

A SCSWGA Medallion will be awarded to the medalist.

The Lee Marr Memorial Trophy will be awarded to the player with the low 36 hole NET score.

All players will be eligible for flight awards.  Handicap maximum will be 36.

The Rules Committee will decide questions of fact and golf law.  USGA Rules will apply with local rules set forth by the Rules Committee.  The SCSWGA Board Tournament Committee will decide all questions.

ENTRY FACTS  

1.       The entry fee is $150 for golf, carts, range balls, tips, and lunches.

2.       Entry fee and application must be postmarked on or after Monday, September 20, but must not be postmarked after October 4.

3.       All entries must be received by MAIL.

4.       ONE entry per envelope.

5.       NO entry fees will be refunded for withdrawals after Monday, October 4.
